Before you decide to have a beach wedding, Magical Marriages would like to provide a few pointers. When planning a beach wedding, among mother nature you can't plan to have perfect weather.
Although the great outdoors provides a beautiful scenery, remember spring time brings spring showers and summer time means hurricane season. It is very important to reserve a tent or two or plan for the worse case scenario. Think about having parasals and serving water or iced tea for your guests so they can have something cold to drink while waiting for the bride. Consider little to no hot items, preferably a cold buffet and a fondont cake for a more durable design that will last throughout the day or night. For an indoor wedding reception, use tall trees with blue lighting to give the site an outdoor feeling. Fireworks, a boat, or a horse is also a good idea for the bride and groom exit. Furthermore, "going green" has become more and more popular, even for weddings. Recycled paper for invitations provides a perfect image for a beach wedding. Think of having martini's, made from the seasonal valley lemons (orange and lemon in one) of the Rio Grande Valley. Give your guests a taste of the Valley and something they will remember. Use a twist of valley lemon peels for cocktails or squeeze lemon juice into savory Mexican beer. Your guests are bound to love it.
