Vivian and Hugh 8.8.09

We pulled it off, YAY! Magical Marriages planned a full-fledged Chinese & American wedding in less than three months and we were so honored to be part of it.  Congratulations to Vivian and Hugh who married at the First Unitarian Church of Austin and a white wedding it was.  As they walked down the isles they were greeted by a white floral runner, glittered ribbon and shiny tulle, hydrangea and white rose kissing balls, and of course, white rose petals. The crowd couldn’t even imagine what was next.

The reception took place at The Caswell House with simple, sexy centerpiences and Chinese favors filled with Herseys rich chocolate and Chinese tradition candy; pictures explain it all.  Everyone had the pleasure of having a four course dinner with the main course of seared beef tenderloin with grilled sweet chili prawn skewers and fig cherry glaze from Pink Avocado Catering.  For desert, guests had the option of luscious, moist cupcakes from L's Cupcake Cafe or a warm strawberry soufflé with a Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream from Pink Avocado.

Much thanks to Han from Certified Chinese Translators in Austin for assisting with Vivian's parents; Natalie, John, and Aaron from First Unitarian Church; Bryan and Craig from The Caswell House; Brett and Courtney from Pink Avocado; Kelly at Austin Party Central for rentals, DJ Patrick Murray, Laura from L's Cupcake Cafe and last but not least, Yoon from Nissi Studios for the images that will last a lifetime (pics coming soon).
