"I wasn't sure I needed a day-of coordinator since our venue provided a coordinator for the ceremony and venue setup. Then I thought about all the decorating and special touches we were planning and how I didn't want to put all that on my family, so we talked to several planners and ended up going with Melinda at Magical Marriages. I'm so glad we did! She gave us a great rate that included her and an assistant coming early to decorate our ceremony and reception and stay to help direct guests and pack up afterward. Melinda was very accessible and easy to communicate with, and even checked in a few times during the planning process to see if there was anything else she could do or remind me of little things I may have let fall through the cracks. I just gave them a list of what I wanted in what places and labeled the boxes of materials, and they did all the work -- getting flowers to the bridal party, assembling centerpieces, setting out favors, setting up the wish tree, etc. etc...it was really a lot of work and they did it beautifully! Definitely worth every penny -- I highly recommend Melinda whether you just need decorating like we did or if you're looking for someone to handle more planning tasks because they were really on top of things."
